Here’s a short selection of some the things I’ve been up to in Windsor and Westminster. Generally, parliamentary business takes place from Monday to Thursday each week.

Spoke and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Windsor Conservative Association fundraising clay pigeon shoot. This year’s charity was Sebastian’s Action Trust.
Opened the Warfield Village Fete.
Spoke at the Chesham and Amersham Conservative Supper Club about the Conservative agenda going forward.
Recorded a message for BBC Radio Berkshire about Brexit.
Met with the Berkshire Community Foundation to discuss charitable causes and see the help that this charity provides to a range of local projects in Berkshire.
Met the Managing Director of Thames Valley Hospice to discuss social care and see the hard work this charity does for those with terminal illnesses.
Spoke on BBC Radio Berkshire about Brexit and Heathrow (1:14.00-1:20:29).
Met the Director of Client Operations from C2FO, a FinTech company.
Met with the Twins & Multiple Birth Association (TAMBA).
Met the Executive Director of the Royal Windsor Racecourse and the Director of External Affairs for the Racing & Leisure Group to discuss racing in the Windsor constituency.
Attended a meeting with the Chief Executive of NATS and the Chief Executive of Heathrow Airport to discuss increased aircraft noise over the constituency.
Attended the summer reception for the High Sheriff of Berkshire at The Old Rectory.
Supported a UK exporter with Ghanaian High Commission.
Led a mining trade mission to Guinea Conakry as Trade Envoy.
Met with the Conservative candidate for the Sunninghill & South Ascot by-election, Julian Sharpe.
Opened Master Taylors in Sunningdale.
Took part in an EU referendum debate organised by Southwark Chamber of Commerce.
Met with the Chairman of Ghana Union UK.
Visited No10 to deliver a crystal portrait of David Cameron by renowned Indian artist Syed Azmathullah.
Interviewed by Anne Diamond on BBC Berkshire about Brexit (38:40-56:20).
Met with Philip Morris International to discuss smoke-free alternatives to cigarettes.
Met with the Chief Executive of UK Export Finance to discuss Trade Envoy matters.
Met with EpiGeneSys to discuss epigenetics.
Gave a keynote speech at the Ghana UK-Based Achievement Awards (GUBA) on globalisation and trade.
Visited Cowarth Park to address Berkshire’s branch of the Conservative Women’s Organisation (CWO).
Visited 3M in Bracknell to see their Innovation Centre and meet with the Managing Director.
Met with the Regional Director of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) West Africa in Parliamet.
CNN interview on Brexit with Christiane Amanpour.
Met with Network Rail to discuss Sunningdale Station Improvement Works.
Attended a Parliamentary Reception for Team Margot.
State Opening of Parliament.
Debated the upcoming EU referendum at Datchet Village Hall.
Attended the opening night of Windsor’s new Marco Pierre White restaurant at Castle Hotel.
As Chair of the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) signed an article of cooperation between POST and the Commission for Future Challenges, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Chilean Senate.
Met with a local charity, Save Abandoned Fly-Grazing Equines (SAFE), to discuss the horse welfare issues.
Interview with BBC Oxford on Brexit and the technology sector.
Met with Lord Price, the new head of UKTI, and fellow Trade Envoys.
Chaired on a City Week Roundtable in my capacity as Trade Envoy to Ghana.
Recorded a message for the Ghana UK-Based Achievement Awards (GUBA).
Spoke at the Federation of Small Businesses Thames Valley Parliamentary Reception.
Spoke with local Windsor members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Stayed up ’til the early hours following elections results. Great result for Conservatives in Scotland.
Met with a constituent in Westminster for a cup of tea.
Met with Glint Pay to discuss advances in financial technology.
Attended a joint event between the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) and the Water APPG.
Met with DfID in my capacity as a Trade Envoy.
Chaired a FinTech APPG breakfast briefing on payment services.
Spoke at a Reed Smith seminar on financial technology.
Interviewed on BBC Berkshire about the Queen’s 90th birthday & President Obama’s visit.
Celebrated Her Majesty’s 90th birthday at the opening of the Alexandra Gardens band stand with the Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness, Prince Phillip.
